We at taxrobots.org are not alone.

Multiple organizations, ranging from USA Today to Fortune, are reporting that Microsoft founder Bill Gates endorsed taxrobots most fundamental statement -“When a robot takes a human being’s job, transfer the human’s tax burden to the robot: tax the robot.”

Mr. Gates is quoted as saying “Right now, the human worker who does, say, $50,000 worth of work in a factory, that income is taxed . . . If a robot comes in to do the same thing, you’d think that we’d tax the robot at a similar level.” He also agreed that this can “slow down the speed of that adoption [i.e., robots replacing humans] somewhat” to give society the time it needs to adapt to a world dominated by robotic labor.

Thank you, Mr. Gates!
